PROCESS.

Fragments of making — texture, touch, and becoming.

How RawBow Matter is built — fragments from the studio. Materials before they become, hands at work, the slow architecture between drawing and finished piece. New entries appear here as they happen.

Four stages

A corner of the studio in daylight: olive cloth spread across a pale worktable, a spool of natural thread and a metal rule; one of the artist’s own works framed on the wall.

01

OBSERVE

Before anything is made, I look. Light on a surface says more than an idea.

02

COMPOSE

Gesture finds form, form finds proportion. This is where the work decides what it will be.

03

CRAFT

The material leads the hand. Detail and finish close what the drawing promised.

04

RELEASE

The work is released when it decides it is finished — as an edition, a piece, or a story.
